Welcome to the national golf competition for rugby clubs

Wooden Spoon, rugby’s charity supporting disadvantaged children, is pleased to present the ninth year of the Rugby Clubs Golf Championship.

The Championship is a national event. Clubs, referees, counties and all recognised rugby organisations are invited to enter one or more teams into the Championship. Nine qualifying events are listed in the Venue section.

The leading teams from each qualifying event progress to a Regional Final and the top four teams from each Regional Final will compete to become Champion at Walton Heath GC.

All funds raised from the Championship support Wooden Spoon’s work with disadvantaged children. Full details of Spoon’s work can be found at www.woodenspoon.com.

We look forward to welcoming you to one of the events in 2008.

Gareth Edwards, representing Millfield Old Boys RFC, looks on as team-mate, former 1960’s England centre, Dave Rosser, sinks his putt on the 18th at Lilley Brook GC, watched by their playing partners from Evesham RFC, Pete Moore and Pete Lawrence.
